Hi folks!

I am from Wheeling, West Virginia. That’s West by God Virginia, and we have been a state since 1863. I attended West Virginia University and have degrees in English and Slavic Studies with minors in French and History. Go Mountaineers! I have lived in Nashville, Tennessee for many years, and my world revolves around my amazing son, great coffee, an enormous gaggle of besties, true crime podcasts, and the pursuit of the perfect sentence.

My career path has gone through several permutations including newspaper advertising executive, nonprofit program coordinator, and grant writer, but I turned my love of the English language into my dream career, the owner of Jacob Street Creative. I provide content writing and editing for individuals and businesses, English and writing tutoring services, and college application essay guidance for high school seniors.
